Michigan Clean Marina Program
(CMP)A public-private partnership between the Michigan Boating Industries Association, Michigan Sea Grant College Program, and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. The Clean Marina Michigan Program fosters its objectives by disseminating information that will assist marina and boatyard operators in managing profitable businesses, while protecting and enhancing the quality of Michigan's waterways.
Recreational Boating Educational Conference
(RBEC - pronounced are' beck)
This annual meeting of Michigan's marine industry offers education, networking and new business opportunities to marine businessmen and women.
Recreational Boating Industries Educational Foundation (RBIEF)
This Foundation offers scholarships to students interested in working in the marine industry in Michigan. It has been instrumental in the creation of a Marine Management course at Michigan State University and works to provide internship opportunities at MBIA member locations.
